Pro Hunter Online was created around three enduring values: faith, family, and preparation.

We believe the outdoors offers more than recreation. It provides opportunities for families to spend time together, young people to learn responsibility, and individuals to develop the skills needed to face unexpected situations with confidence.

We are not interested in selling people equipment they do not need. Our goal is to help customers choose practical products that serve a genuine purpose—whether they are planning their first family camping trip, preparing for hunting season, learning to fish, or building an emergency supply kit.

Experience Behind the Store

Pro Hunter Online grew from a lifetime of outdoor experience, ministry, teaching, and working with young people.

My own journey has included hunting, fishing, camping, missionary work near the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming, teaching, and more than half a century of Christian ministry. Age and physical limitations may have changed how much time I can spend in the field, but they have not taken away my desire to help others enjoy and respect the outdoors.

I have learned that expensive equipment cannot replace knowledge, preparation, sound judgment, or respect for God’s creation. A person does not become an outdoorsman simply by purchasing the latest gear. Skills must be learned, practiced, and passed to the next generation.

That belief is at the heart of Pro Hunter Online.

Faith Is Part of Our Foundation

We are not ashamed to say that Christian faith guides the way we conduct this business.

We believe customers should be treated honestly and respectfully. We believe a person’s word should mean something. We also believe the earth is God’s creation and that those who hunt, fish, and camp have a responsibility to care for it.

As the Bible says:

Responsible outdoor living includes obeying the law, respecting property, avoiding waste, practicing safety, and leaving the land in good condition for those who follow us.

Family Matters

Some of life’s strongest memories are not made in front of a screen. They are made around a campfire, beside a fishing pond, along a woodland trail, or beneath a tent while rain falls overhead.

Pro Hunter Online wants to help families create those memories.

We especially want to encourage parents and grandparents to share their knowledge with children. Teaching a young person to pitch a tent, tie a knot, cook outdoors, identify wildlife, handle equipment safely, or prepare for bad weather builds more than outdoor ability. It develops patience, confidence, responsibility, and cooperation.

Emergency preparation is sometimes promoted through fear. We take a different approach.

Preparation should produce wisdom and confidence—not panic. Storms, power outages, transportation interruptions, illness, and other emergencies can happen anywhere. Keeping food, water, lighting, first-aid supplies, and dependable equipment available is simply responsible living.

We want to help beginners take reasonable steps without becoming overwhelmed. You do not need to purchase everything at once. Begin with the essentials, learn how to use them, and build according to your family’s actual needs.

Pro Hunter Online is intended to become a place where people can find both products and practical guidance.

We want to offer articles, safety information, checklists, product explanations, beginner lessons, and youth-oriented outdoor programs. When possible, we will explain why an item may be helpful, how it should be used, and who may—or may not—need it.

As I approach retirement from many years of pastoral ministry, Pro Hunter Online gives me another way to continue serving people. The setting may be different, but the purpose remains much the same: to teach, encourage, prepare, and help others.
